The Mozart Symphonies Challenge is built around a simple and slightly provocative question:
how do you prepare a Mozart symphony in just one day?

The audience is invited to attend the open rehearsal in the afternoon and return in the evening for the concert, witnessing the orchestra’s work process, interpretative decisions, challenges and solutions as they unfold.

The eighth chapter of the Challenge is dedicated to Symphony No.36 in C major, K.425 “Linz”, one of Mozart’s most vibrant and radiant orchestral works. Written in just a few days during his stay in Linz in 1783, the symphony stands out for the dramatic slow introduction, formal clarity and lively dialogue between orchestral sections.

Will our heroes make it to the concert without running out of energy?
The audience is invited to experience the entire journey alongside the orchestra.
