United Hearts – Coro Confusion and Coro Raro for Senegal
Two choirs, two different repertoires and one shared purpose. Coro Confusion and Coro Raro join forces in support of pediatric surgery and a healthcare project in Senegal.
On Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 6:00 PM, at Sala Agnini in Rome, Coro Confusion and Coro Raro will join forces for United Hearts – for Senegal, a charity concert supporting pediatric surgical care and the construction of a healthcare center in Tassette, Senegal, serving approximately twenty villages.
The event brings together two choirs with different histories, repertoires and musical languages, united by a common purpose.
Coro Confusion, conducted by Stefano Quaresima, will present a programme built around well-known songs from the international pop repertoire, reimagined for choir.
Coro Raro, conducted by Marida Augeri and Daniele Camiz, will take the audience on a musical journey across different traditions and cultures, from medieval England to Namibia, from Bulgaria to North Macedonia, passing through Israel, Palestine and South Africa.
Two different approaches to choral singing, two apparently distant repertoires, meeting on the same stage in support of a meaningful humanitarian project.
The concert will conclude with performances by both choirs together, including Bella Ciao and Let It Be, a symbolic meeting point between traditions, stories and perspectives.
Music alone cannot solve the world’s problems, but it can help build connections, raise awareness and support projects that make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
