Magisterium 2026: the final concert of the eighth edition

On Sunday 18 October 2026 at 5:00 pm, the Waldensian Church in Piazza Cavour, Rome, will host the final concert of Magisterium 2026, featuring Maria Azzaro, Sara Palumbo and Giulio Ginobi with the ICNT Orchestra conducted by Daniele Camiz.

Magisterium is a free advanced piano course taught by Marcella Crudeli. Its eighth edition is open to three pianists under the age of 28, selected through an audition. The course runs from February to October, with regular sessions devoted to solo repertoire and the preparation of a piano concerto with orchestra.

The project is promoted by Fondazione Marcella Crudeli ETS in collaboration with Rotary Club Roma Ovest. The Rotary Club supports the initiative and takes part in the selection process through its representatives on the panel. The ICNT Orchestra collaborates in the final stage of the course, during which each participant prepares and performs a work for piano and orchestra.

The programme includes the Sinfonia from Falstaff by Antonio Salieri; the first movement of Giovanni Paisiello’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major, R. 8.10, with Maria Azzaro; the first movement of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 in A major, K 414, with Sara Palumbo; and Felix Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 25, with Giulio Ginobi.

Admission is free. The concert will also be livestreamed on YouTube.
