I would like to warmly thank everyone who attended yesterday’s For Africa concert by the Coro Raro, which I conducted together with Marida Augeri, at the Basilica of San Lorenzo Fuori le Mura.

Yes, it was cold — but there was deep listening, attention and shared commitment.
Thanks to the generosity of the audience, we raised €420, which will support a micro-financing project for the women of the village of Ahépé (Togo).

Music cannot solve everything, but it can create real connections.
And last night, this truly happened.
